GUIDANCE FOR REJUVENATION & WEIGHT BALANCE

Pick the freshest and most wholesome food you can and enjoy with your family and friends.

- Drink ½ your body weight in ounces of purified water daily. We like Alkaline 3 Ionized Water the best. $3 gallon

- Make sure to have bowel movements EVERY day (Magnesium might help constipation + Rub Castor oil on in pm.) Start your day with a warm cup of water of which you can add a tea bag, piece of apple to start the digestive process going.

- Increase intake of fibers such as ground flax seeds, psyllium, or fiber capsules (we have a complete fiber selection)

- – INCLUDE  GOAL PLANNING TIME, EXERCISE, PLAYTIME, REST & RELAXATION  in your weekly schedule.

FOODS TO EMPHASIZE

- Non-starch vegetables (raw if digestion permits or lightly steamed) such as carrots, beets leaves and root, celery, zucchini,squash, parsley, romaine lettuce, and spinach, (good to include because of their sulpher content: cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, Brussels sprouts,garlic, radishes, and kale) Avocado and Olives provide good fats.

- Freshly juiced vegetables are invaluable, and homemade vegetable soups (A large bowl of soup is recommended daily)

-Fruits and vegetables with deep bright pigments because they are nutrient dense:  carrots, pumpkin, purple cabbage, cherries, plums. Make sure there are at least 80 % of your intake vegetables and up to 20% fruit.

-Greens: eaten or juiced or taken in powder form to boost your chlorophyll intake is very helpful:  Alfalfa, barley leaf, wheat grass, kale and spinach.  Sea vegetables such as hiziki,  arame, wakame, nori, kulse, and kombu are very high in minerals and very beneficial.

- Low sugar fruits such as granny smith apples, lemons, limes, (freshly made lemonade or limeade are great) diluted unsweetened cranberry juice (good for the kidneys), Diluted cherry or pomegranate concentrate (good for blood and liver) (1-3 Tbs. per quart)  - Nut butters and raw nuts such as almonds, sesame seeds, pumpkins seedssunflower seeds. Use nuts & seeds sparingly. Sesame tahini & almond butter are good. (make sure they are very fresh), and

- Wheat alternatives: as quinoa, amaranth, millet, spelt, brown rice, buckwheat, rye, wild rice or Ezekiel products (sprouted grains inspired by the Bible). Reduce/ eliminate wheat & wheat products (pasta, bread, crackers)

- Herbal teas such as Holy Basil, Peppermint, Nettle, Green tea, Dandelion Root, (we carry a  great nanized green tea ), Detox tea blends.  Pick herbs with no caffeine. Float a piece of apple or dried fruit to flavor.

- Dandy Blend drink (a great instant herbal coffee substitute that can be taken hot or cold) Also a spoonful of blackstrap molasses ( to taste in a mug of warmed water) makes a good coffee substitute and contains minerals.

- Stevia (an all natural sweetener, ask for a free sample) Learn to enjoy food without sweetening.

- Low sugar forms of soy, rice, or almond milks (look for 5-7 gram carb per serving or less)

- Reduce or eliminate cheeses, small amount of goat or feta okay.

-Spreads to dip veggies in: hummus, tahini, sunflower butter, salsa, (all hydrogenated oil and sugar free)

- Spices such as garlic, turmeric (ask about capsules) celtic/pink salt, ginger, and dulse, cayenne.

- Cold pressed olive oil, flax oil, coconut oil ( 1-2 tb per day) Apple Cider vinegar 1 tb per day high potassium.

- Lean proteins such as organic/free range chicken, turkey, beef (use animal proteins sparingly for short cleanses), eggs (free range) and fish (deep sea and oily such as tuna, salmon, sardines, mackerel, non-shellfish avoid raw, smoked or deep-fried) and tofu (Eat half your usual portion while cleansing)

FOODS NOT RECOMMENDED

- Artificial sweeteners (aspartame, saccharin, sucralose) – Limit or abstain from sugar.  Limit fruit to one piece daily of apple, pear. – Limited consumption of simple carbohydrates (white flour, pasta, crackers, etc.) Limit corn intake.

- Wheat products (can be irritating to the digestive system) Consider 2 weeks wheat free and limit grains to only 1 serving daily and best choices are spelt, buckwheat, rye, barley, oats, quinoa, rice, wild rice, and amaranth.

- Alcohol or- Fruit juices (small amount of unsweeten juice can be used to flavor water ( per 8 oz 4 tbs Juice or 1 tb concentrate per 8 oz water) – Caffeinated teas (except green tea) – Peanuts or peanut butter (usually contain molds) – Potatoes (plain baked or boiled in soup okay) – Products from Cow’s milk and Cow’s Milk ( use organic and cultured like keifer or yogurt if you do have dairy)-Processed Food of any kind (if you can’t pronounce it, leave it out)

-Supplements that can help with cleansing that are helpful: Cleanse Smart 30 Day Detox Box, Milk Thistle extract, Energizing Iron (Liver Extract), Lipo-Plex, Liver Complex, Gall Bladder Complex, Lecithin Granules, Mulit-Fiber Blend caps, Ground Flax seeds,  Greens Powder or capsules,  Liver Nano Detox Liquid, Gall Bladder Nano Detox Liquid, Digestive Enzymes, including HCl. My Favorite supplements for on going use: Good Multi-Vitamin, Multi-Mineral, Fish Oils, CoQ10, Digestive Enzymes, Fibers, Whey Proteins, Tumeric, Herbal combinations for organ or system to enhance.

RECIPES FOR REJUVENATION

HOMEMADE VEGETABLE SOUP: To a large stock pot with 2 quarts of purified water add your favorite vegetables such as 3 cups of chopped celery and potatoes, 1 chopped carrot, 1 chopped onion, 1 -3 cloves of diced garlic, 2 cups of chopped broccoli, bell pepper red or green.  You can also add parsley chopped or dry (3 tbs fresh, or 1 tbs dry, which boosts potassium), sea salt and pepper to taste.  Spinach, Kale, will boost up your greens consumption.   You can also use some V-8 to replace some of the water. For extra protein you can add 14 oz can chickpeas, chicken breast chopped and right before serving I might also add 2 tbs of whey protein powder, or just make vegetable soup with just vegetables.  (1-4 tablespoons of Tomato Concentrate we sell to boost the lycopene and potassium in your diet).  Bring all ingredients to a slow boil and simmer for about 20 minutes except for the Tomato Powder.   For people with poorer digestion, take one third or more of the broth/steamed vegetables mixture and puree. Add back in to the main stock pot for a heartier, easier to digest broth. Just before serving to preserve the nutrition, you can also add any or all of the following to really boost the nutrition:  1-2 tbs. miso, for the enzymes, tumeric open 4 caps and 1-4 tb tomato powder, 1 tsp greens powder,  1 tb nutritional yeast, and coconut oil (good for the brain and to ward off virus). I also like to add a beef bone for extra bone health to the pot to cook in soup with vegetables. (Kroger’s sells bones)


LEMONADE: To 10 ounces of purified water add the juice of 1 lemon, 1-2 tablespoons of grade B maple syrup, and a dash of cayenne pepper. (We carry maple syrup and cayenne pepper)

To make 1 gallon:  Add 7-8 ounces of fresh squeezed lemon or lime juice, 6-7 ounces of grade B maple syrup and a dash of cayenne.  Stir and enjoy.  Store in the refrigerator and drink within 2-3 days.
Good Morning Shake (Sweet Taste) healthy – Great for breakfast. Enjoy for breakfast or anytime and this nutritious shake can help reduce food cravings. Generally when we crave a particular food, it is because our body is deficient in one of the 90 vitamins, minerals or essential fatty acids our body requires for functioning optimally.
1/2
banana or ½ cup fresh fruits or berries
8 oz.  purified water or rice milk, almond milk, or coconut milk
1 teaspoon or more of Greens Mix Powder
1 teaspoon Flax Oil, or Coconut Oil + 2 teaspoons Lecithin Powder for more brain power
2 tablespoons or more of of Slim Styles, or Whey Protein Powder
1 teaspoon Nutritional Flakes for extra protein, vitamins, and minerals. For extra fiber add 1-3 tbs flax meal.
PURE maple syrup or raw local organic honey to taste (1 tsp at most or best left out)
ice cubes to taste ( 2)
Method:Blend in blender or can shake in a bottle to mix.  Can use less liquid to make a pudding or put in the blender with small amount of fresh fruit and ice and water. This is an easy to digest meal replacement with a good protein and lots of good fiber. Drink water after eating the pudding. And if you mix it in blender with water you still might follow with glass of water.

A Good Exercise

40 minutes of silence, 10 people to be thankful for, 10 things to be thankful for,  2  songs (poems may be substituted)

4 treasured memories,  4 concerns, In a warm place put 20 minutes of solitude and the first half of the silence.  After five minutes, add the people and the things to be thankful for.  Stir, and let sit for 5 minutes.  Add one song or poem.  Mix in treasured memories which have been fully plumped to richness.  Add remaining song or poem.  Gently fold in concerns, one at a time, mixing carefully.  When all have been added, put aside, and take the second half of the silence into the light.  Yield:  One Peace Maker.  Serve with love.

Hearty Tomato Soup Recipe

Hearty Tomato Soup Serves 6-8
Ingredients:
1 – 2 tablespoons cold-pressed virgin olive oil
1 – 3 garlic cloves, minced (optional)
2 onions, 4 celery stalks with leaves, diced
8 whole fresh tomatoes or 1 large can of tomatoes – chopped finely
1 cup V 8 vegetable juice (spicy or regular) Use low sodium and organic when possible
4 cups purified water

4 tbs. Premier Tomato concentrate powder (add right before serving)
1 handful each – fresh basil, fresh parsley, fresh coriander, finely chopped (opt)
1 tsp. fresh thyme chopped, (opt) 2 bay leaves (opt)
1 tablespoon freshly chopped oregano or 2 teaspoons of dried oregano (opt)
Pinch sea salt (Pink salt is our favorite)

3 tbs Parmesan cheese for garnish

8 caps of Tumeric Powder (the caps keep fresh all the great nutrients in Tumeric) Juice of one fresh lemon

Method:
Heat the oil in a pan, add the garlic and onion and sauté for 5 minutes
Add the celery sauté for 3 min. Add the fresh tomatoes and all the herbs (except for ½ the parsley) and sauté for 3 minutes, Add all the liquids, Cook slowly with lid on for 35 minutes over low heat.
(For a thicker soup, use 2 Tbsp instant mashed potato or potato starch –  With wooden spoon, one spoon at a time, stir into the soup to avoid lumps- Cover pot and cook for another 10 minutes)
Just before serving: Open caps of tumeric and mix with Tomato Powder, add this and lemon juice, to soup and garnish with ½ the parsley, and grated parmesan cheese (opt) just prior to serving. Remember to remove bay leaves before serving.   Beans and lentils are a delicious addition for extra protein.

Looking for an instant soup idea? You can also mix 1-2 tbs. tomato powder, 2 caps tumeric, dash of pink salt, and 1-2 scoops protein powder in hot water for an instant soup that is very nutritious.   Extras: add some kefir, nutritional yeast flakes, and greens to this mug of soup to really boost the nutrition.

Healing properties of this soup include:

The simple tomato has gained a stellar reputation due to the discovery of a carotenoid called lycopene, a health promoting phyto-chemical which gives the tomato its red color.  Lycopene acts like a powerful antioxidant, helping to scavenge and neutralize harmful free radicals which can accelerate aging and cause disease. Lycopene also assists in the repair of damaged body cells as well as helping to inhibit DNA oxidation, which if left unchecked can lead to certain forms of cancer.  Many studies have supported the role of the tomato with its rich lycopene content in the prevention and nutritional support of prostate cancer, lung cancer and other types of cancer as well as heart disease and osteoporosis. According to Canadian research using lycopene to lower LDL cholesterol could mean decreased risk of heart disease. Tomatoes are rich in lycopene a powerful immune-boosting antioxidant (270 mg in 1 tbs of Premier powder) Tomatoes are also high in potassium an important mineral for kidney, heart, blood, muscle and nerve support (1 tbs of Premier powder has 450 mg. of potassium)

Herbs are nutritious. This soup is beneficial for fatty liver and weight watchers!

Tumeric is a powerful antioxidant that promotes healthy digestion, peristalsis and helps purify nerve channels and may help alleviate stiff joints.

The Athena has 3 modes of water, Purified, Acid, and Alkaline. We only use acid water externally for rashes, infections etc. Purified water can be used for baby bottles and medications and folks that are very toxic.   For best pH and anti-oxidant levels, drink the alkaline water within 48 hours and at room temperature. (You can cook food, and steep tea in alkaline water.) Drinking with nutritional supplements is fine. Avoid drinking alkaline water with Medications. Keep all water away from UV light.

The very best water to drink is Ionized Water, which is produced by running normal tap water over a positive and negative electrode. Easy Steps for Holistic Health

PHYSICAL: DR. PAMELA’S DOZEN DAILY EXERCISES

1 . BREATHING EXERCISE Become aware of your breathing and focus your attention on inhaling deeply and breathing in tranquility, beauty and joy. Exhale slowly expelling all critical, negative and judgmental thoughts. Breathe deeply and completely. Repeat 3+ times. Good stress management and immune exercise .

2 . RELAXATION EXERCISE Schedule time for adequate sleep, rest, play, prayer, and relaxation time. These are essentials. Invest time each day for rest, and relaxation, include play and quiet prayer time. Count your many blessings and feel grateful for the abundance you have. This quiet time develops non -judgmental awareness that guides us to a rich reserve of vitality within, deepening our knowledge, trust and love of ourselves, strengthening our connections with each other, while inspiring us with a sense of the divine at work among us.

 
3. STRETCHING EXERCISES Stretch out all your muscles daily. Shake your legs and arms. Massage your feet once a day. Treat yourself to a massage. Stretch for the higher things in life. Recognize and nurture self-trust and self confidence. Be good to yourself (define and implement). Define and use your vast natural resources. Establish and implement a healthful, joyful action plan aligned with your highest choices. Support your body by using good posture. Sit as though you have just won 7 million dollars.
 
4 . BRAIN EXERCISE Fill up with positive, loving and constructive thoughts, experience the life you imagine.
 
5 . EYE AND EAR EXERCISE See and hear all the beauty and perfection in yourself and others . Consciously view beauty throughout the day and thank your creator for this awesome planet we live on.
 
6. FACIAL EXERCISE Smile, smile, smile. Exercise your smile muscles continuously all day long.
 
7. VOICE EXERCISE Speak kindly and express your hearts desires. Sing your favorite tunes. The power of thought is expressed in words/ language. Loving words of specificity + feelings (emotion) = Manifestation. Speak only about that which you choose to have come into your life. RECOGNIZE THE POWER OF CHOICE. You have an awesome power of choice as to what you speak about, what you put your attention upon, and the view you take regarding ANYTHING in your life. Say what you mean and mean what you say; WORDS CREATE .
 
8. HEART EXERCISE Heart -to-Heart love gives us power to harmonize our individual differences, creating happy and fulfilling relationships. Honor the person you are in relationship is doing the best he or she can in any given moment. Ask your heart, it always knows the answer.
 
9. SKIN EXERCISE Dry skin brush daily before your warm shower or getting dressed in the morning. Use a natural fiber dry brush to remove dead skin cells, improving circulation and reducing body tension. Keep your body, hair, nails and teeth clean. Wear colorful / comfortable clothing made from natural fibers to allow your skin, the largest organ, to breathe.
 
10. HEALTHY DIET Eat food closest to it’s whole, natural and fresh state. Offer your prayers of thanksgiving for each meal. Read labels: Reduce food consumption containing artificial ingredients & preservatives. Eat in a relaxed unhurried state, chewing each bite several time. Eat protein portion of your meal first. Empty bowels and bladder promptly when the urge arrives. Purified water is an excellent beverage. Fortify with fresh lemon or chlorophyll. Nourish your body with a diet containing plentiful supplies of simple, natural, unprocessed, unrefined foods. Include lots of fresh and raw fruits and vegetables, fiber, whole grains and purified water. Use foods that are grown in the same climate (near your home) (organically grown without chemicals when possible) and when in season picked fresh. Listen to your body, it is always talking to you, honor the messages you hear.
 
11. CARDIOVASCULAR EXERCISE Walk your dog whether you have one or not. Revise your beliefs to experience exercise as a natural joyous expression of self. Enjoy mother nature and the outdoors daily. Sit on Mother Earth, enjoy her and thank her for all her splendor. Leave your sunglasses at home. Brisk walking and or jump-rope / mini-trampoline, 11 minutes daily (Warm-up 5 minutes and wind down 5 minutes. Total time 22 minutes.) Fresh early morning air and sunlight is especially beneficial.
 
12. SLEEP 6-8 hours nightly. Sleep in a well ventilated room with circulation of fresh air. Sleep away from electrical appliances. Make your bedroom an oasis for rest, relaxation, and sleep. Above 11 exercises will ensure a restful rejuvenation and sweet dreams.

EMOTIONAL
 
Give yourself permission to be loving and enthusiastic. Do something you love to do regularly.
 
Hug yourself and your loved ones daily.
 
Tell jokes and give complements freely.
 
Find ways to love and honor the people you are in relationship with and find passion / love in your work.
 
Feel your feelings, share your feelings with a friend, have a good cry if necessary.
 
Identify and transform any negative emotions by feeling this emotion, loving this emotion, knowing that by loving this emotion it turns in to its positive opposite.
 
Apologize to anyone you knowingly or unknowingly treated unkindly.
 
Comparing yourself to others is unnecessary.
 
Help yourself experience positive emotions such as Joy, Happiness, Pleasure & Peace by:
 
Singing and dancing and listening to your favorite music, and doing what you love to do.
 
Growing plants and flowers in your living space.
 
Doing childlike activities such as swinging in the park and playing with children.
 
Communicating with someone special to you. Going to and enjoying your favorite places.
 
Creating artwork with lots of color like coloring or painting.
 
Learning a new skill such as: cooking, sewing, auto repair or playing a musical instrument.
 
MENTAL
 
Be committed to your highest good and live on purpose. Regularly identify and review your goals.
 
Have a willingness to win and allow others to win (Win/Win )
 
Be and FEEL thankful.
 
Forgive yourself and others.
 
Make only agreements you intend to keep, clear up any broken agreements, and live your word .
 
Use your imagination and picture and experience yourself strong, beautiful, helpful, wise, happy, abundant, confident, and healthy. Live this picture you experience in your mind.
 
Keep a journal and communicate with yourself.
 
SPIRITUAL
 
Create regular intervals of quiet time to:
 
FEEL AND EXPRESS GRATITUDE . Ask and feel forgiveness. Continually count your blessings. Express your hopes and dreams. Discover your highest choices/priorities in life and live them. Feel your connection with your Creator. Experience your worries transforming into faith returning. Allow answers, inspirations, and divine guidance to come and feel them being received. Power of Language
THE POWER OF THOUGHT EXPRESSED IN WORDS AND LANGUAGE

The verbal communication we use with ourselves (internal dialogue) and with others is a very powerful food/tool for health. We can easily recognize exactly what our attention is upon and what our belief systems are by listening to our language. Our words, thoughts, and feelings shape our reality. We continually and constantly communicate our reality/perception verbally and non-verbally to ourselves and to others as we speak our internal and external dialogue. Where we place our attention, we are; and what our attention is upon we draw to us and we become. (“As a man thinketh in his heart so is he”). What are you speaking about? What is your attention on? What is manifesting in your life? We can listen very carefully and easily find out what our current reality is and discover what program the mind (our master computer) is playing. If it is not feeding and empowering, then we easily have the power to CHANGE IT NOW. Our beliefs communicated in our language shape our reality. One way we can discover what our beliefs are is to mind-map and see what words and thoughts pop out onto the page. Are the beliefs, thoughts, and words we are using in our computer program feeding and empowering TO ourselves and to the people we are in relationship with.?
Our perception (which we communicate with our language) shapes our reality and focuses and directs our energy. Our intention directs our energy. If our attention is on the half empty glass, what do we see? The half empty or lack. When our attention is on the half full glass what do we see? The abundance!! We are aligned with what we put our attention upon. Align yourself with your highest choices, your heart’s feelings, and the abundance in this world that is ever present.
Loving words of specificity + feelings (emotion) = Manifestation.
Speak only about that which you choose to have come into your life.
RECOGNIZE THE POWER OF CHOICE
YOU HAVE AN AWESOME POWER OF CHOICE AS TO WHAT YOU SPEAK ABOUT, WHAT YOU PUT YOUR ATTENTION UPON, AND THE VIEW YOU TAKE REGARDING ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING IN YOUR LIFE.
Say what you mean and mean what you say ; words create .
KEEP YOUR WORD AND LIVE YOUR WORD. Renegotiate any broken agreements with yourself and others. Establish a rapport with yourself, breathe, and continually reframe your words and focus, as necessary, to establish your alignment with your highest choices and purpose, feeding your body, mind, and spirit.
Eliminate the use of limiting language. Examples: I can’t ( state what you can do instead), I’m stuck, I’m never, I always (absolutes are not understood by the subconscious mind), It’s out of my hands ( state what is in your hands), I don’t know (I choose to know), I will try (I can), it’s impossible, it’s too hard, I can’t understand, I intend to, possibly I can [state only that which you are (and feel) positively aligned with], I want, I need (these words put the attention upon the lack), I must, I have to, and I got to (change to I can, I am).
Replace any lack with the language, perception, and feeling of abundance (half full glass). Use only positive, creative, loving, empowering, and compassionate communications to yourself and others. Speak in the first person personal tense (speak from the position of ownership of your communication), and make eye contact when you speak or are spoken to. Speak about only that which you choose to have come into reality. When in doubt always ask your heart, it always knows. Have a willingness to be a committed listener when someone is speaking to you.
Empowering phrases: I CAN, I easily can, I am, I have, I love, I enjoy, My choice is or I choose to, I confidently, I passionately, I trust, and I know.
We are fed physically, emotionally, mentall , and spiritually by the words we speak and listen. (because they represent the thoughts we have). Thoughts are energy AND LIGHT. LIGHT AND ENERGY is what makes the world go round. The subconscious mind is like a three year old child who interprets and translates literally and then manifests it. Think about a time when you confidently said I CAN and you did. AND HOW AWESOME IT WAS / IS !! Speak confidently and lovingly. Listen LOVINGLY and speak LOVINGLY AND CONSCIOUSLY, as the body is listening and gives us what we speak about and profoundly shapes our world.
