The water is best consumed within 48 hours of dispensing from our machine. Drinking it as soon as you can after dispensing offers the best results. We might suggest you put only the water in the jug to keep it clean and after several fillings rinse with white vinegar before bringing back for a refill. You may purchase gallons at $3 per gallon with your container.   We are stocking 1 gallon size containers, and you can bring your own bottle as well.  Help ease landfill overflow! Easy to clean with diluted vinegar, or tap water and best done by hand. Don’t put in dishwasher. Because 60% of our body weight consists of water it is essential for us to drink pure water as it one of our greatest healers. We recommend you monitor your urine pH (we have paper).

The Athena has 3 modes of water, Purified, Acid, and Alkaline. We only use acid water externally for rashes, infections etc. Purified water can be used for baby bottles and medications and folks that are very toxic.   For best pH and anti-oxidant levels, drink the alkaline water within 48 hours and at room temperature. (You can cook food, and steep tea in alkaline water.) Drinking with nutritional supplements is fine. Avoid drinking alkaline water with Medications. Keep all water away from UV light.

The very best water to drink is Ionized Water, which is produced by running normal tap water over a positive and negative electrode.
