Pam ‘s handcrafted soaps will pamper your body and spirit as she shares her love and the harvest from her many organic gardens in Fishers IN.  She carefully includes the highest quality ingredients,  joyfully made using the cold processed method. She prepares small batches, which include plant oils and medical grade essential oils, fresh and dry herbs, flowers, and fruits, spices, nuts, goat milk, honey, oatmeal, minerals, fragrance oils, and other natural wholesome ingredients that contribute special healing qualities. These soaps are long lasting, lather wonderfully, and are gentle and kind to your skin and the environment, and contain variations of saponified olive, palm, palm kernel, coconut, hemp oil, castor oil, shea and cocoa butter, as well as many other plant oils.
There are also many varieties that are vegan. These  luscious creations bring the beneficial nutrients of the garden into your life to soothe, soften, moisturize, and cleanse your skin.  High quality ingredients give the soap their personality and a lovely scent. The soap is air-cured, the old fashion way, resulting in jewel of a long lasting bar of soap.  Most Soaps are about 5 oz.,  and a and new soaps are offered each month.
Due to the nature of hand cutting, and the natural curing process, measurement and weight of individual bars can vary slightly.  Most bars are cut at a little over 5 oz and then with a couple of week curing time to bring these bars to perfection the actual weight may be 5 oz and will be at least 4.5 oz. You will find the actual weight to be generous.

Aromatherapy Uses

MASSAGE WITH ESSENTIAL OILS
Enjoy this most effective method of using the oils, combining their properties with the therapeutic power of touch. The oils are best diluted with carrier oil, (see carrier oils), such as grapeseed, sweet almond or peach kernel. A dilution of 3% essential oil to carrier oil is a recommended starting point. (Less if using on sensitive skin such as babies (1 drop in 2 oz carrier oil for babies ). This is approximately one drop essential oil to two ml of carrier oil. (6 drops in two teaspoonfuls). And less can be definitely more!
BATHS
Using oils in baths is a simple, effective and pleasant way to relax and receive the therapeutic effects. – Water itself has therapeutic value which enhances the powers of the oils. To use, add 6 to 10 drops of essential oil onto sea salt or into a tablespoon of carrier oil, to the surface of the water which has already been run, then immerse yourself for about 20 minutes, whilst you inhale the vapor. (Again reduce the amount of oils used in baths for babies).
COMPRESSES AND TOWELS FOR FACIAL STEAMS
Add 5 to 10 drops of essential oil to 100ml of warm water then soak a piece of clean cotton in the water, wring out the excess and place the cloth on sore muscles or your face.
INHALATIONS
Add 5 to 10 drops of essential oil into a bowl of steaming water, then place a towel over your head and the bowl and inhale the vapor for a few minutes.
All essential oils are antiseptic and evaporate easily, so they make very good air-fresheners. Different oils create different atmospheres, so experiment! For example, relaxing Sandalwood or Clary Sage are good for parties; or Peppermint and Ylang Ylang, clears your mind for good focus. North Star offers many burners and diffusers, to vaporizer light bulb rings and specially made vaporizer bowls which sit above candle holders. This is a good way of dispersing essential oils.
PERFUMES
Make your own distinctive “Natural” perfume by blending different oils. (Many commercial perfumes use synthetic concoctions for their scent.) Experimenting with different combinations, which can be mixed with a carrier oil.
STORING ESSENTIAL OILS
Because essential oils are affected by sunlight they should be sold and stored in dark glass bottles, with stoppered caps. Make sure that the cap is on securely and the bottle stored up-right in a cool dark place. The oils should be stored out of sight and the touch of children. Remember that children, especially small ones, are very inquisitive. Good Essential oils should keep for several years if properly stored, though the oils of orange, lemon and lime have a shorter life span. Patchouli actually gets better as it ages.
